I’ve been on some pretty wild trips where the weather decided to take center stage. One time, I was tracking a target through the Rockies when a sudden blizzard rolled in out of nowhere. Visibility dropped to almost zero, and I had to hunker down in a makeshift shelter for hours. It completely threw off my timeline, but it was also kind of thrilling in a weird way.
I’m curious what’s the most extreme weather you’ve encountered while traveling? Did it force you to change your plans, or did you find a way to push through? I’d love to hear how others handle unexpected conditions, especially if you’ve got any tips for staying safe (and on track) when the skies decide to throw a curveball.
