Chasing the Next Big Thing in DeFi and Getting Burned
Okay, I need to get this off my chest. I see a project hyped up as the next moonshot, already on a crazy run, and something in my brain just clicks. I know the charts are vertical, I know the market cap is getting silly, but I still convince myself there’s another leg up. I throw some capital in, and more often than not, I’m just providing exit liquidity for the early folks. It’s like a reflex at this point. Does anyone else struggle with this? How do you fight that urge to chase when everything is screaming that you’ve already missed the boat? I want to be smarter about my entries, but the FOMO is real.
