What Would a "Distraction Virus" Look Like And How Do We Stop It?

Lately, I’ve been wondering how we’d diagnose distraction if it acted like an actual virus. Imagine it spreading what would the symptoms be? Maybe constant tab-switching, forgetting why you walked into a room, or that itch to check your phone mid-conversation.

If distraction is contagious, how would we quarantine it? Would it take digital detoxes, focus zones, or something else entirely? I’d love to hear how others manage this, especially with VR and medical research demanding deep focus. Any tricks that actually work for you?

Back in my day, we didn’t need fancy terms for distraction we just called it daydreaming! Turn off the gadgets and try good ol’ pen and paper. Works every time.
