My biggest regret was holding a memecoin through a rug pull
So I got into this memecoin last year, thinking it had some real community hype behind it. The charts were looking crazy, and my initial investment had already 5x’d. Everyone in the Telegram was chanting “WAGMI” and talking about the next zero we were going to burn. I remember telling myself I’d cash out half at a 10x. Well, it hit 8x and I got greedy, convinced it was just the beginning. You can probably guess what happened next. The devs vanished, liquidity got pulled, and the chart went from a beautiful parabola to a single, heartbreaking vertical line. Went from life-changing money back to dust. It was a brutal lesson in taking profits, especially with the more speculative plays. Has anyone else been through something similar? How do you decide when to take profits on a high-risk farm or coin, especially when the hype feels so real?
