My Most Embarrassing Crypto Scam Story
I’ll go first. Early on, I got a DM from someone pretending to be a support rep for a popular exchange. They said my account was flagged and I needed to “verify” my wallet by sending a small test transaction to a secure address. I was new and panicked, so I sent over some ETH. Of course, it was just gone. Looking back, the red flags were obvious no official channel, pressure to act fast. It was a cheap lesson, but it stung.
