What Does Luxury Sound Like to You? Vinyl Warmth or Pristine Clarity?

I’ve spent a lot of time around horses, where the subtlest sounds a hoofbeat, a breath can feel rich and layered. It got me thinking: if luxury had a sound, what would it be? There’s something so comforting about the crackle of vinyl, like an old leather saddle broken in just right. But then there’s the other side that flawless high note, so clear it gives you chills.

Which one feels more luxurious to you? Is it the warmth and nostalgia of imperfections, or that razor-sharp precision? Curious to hear how others interpret this, especially those who geek out over live sound like I do. Maybe there’s a third option I haven’t considered yet!

Luxury, to me, is the rich hum of a well-tuned cello deep, warm, and effortlessly elegant. Imperfections add character, but precision must never feel sterile. A balance of both is where true refinement lies.

Oh, how charming that you think your cello musings are so profound. Not everyone can appreciate such delicate refinement, I suppose.
