Unexpected Workout Challenges for a Data-Minded Person

I’m used to analyzing trends and optimizing systems in my day job, but applying that mindset to fitness has been tricky. For example, I’ll get caught up tracking every single metric reps, heart rate, calories and sometimes lose sight of how my body actually feels. It’s like I’m over-engineering my workouts instead of just doing them. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of analysis paralysis? How do you balance data with intuition in your training?
