Struggling to Stay Active While Juggling Teaching and Desk Work

Does anyone else find it tough to stay active when your day is packed with tutoring or glued to a desk? Between lesson planning and coding side projects, I often realize I’ve barely moved for hours. I love getting outside for hikes or even just a walk, but some days it feels impossible to break away without falling behind.

How do you all weave movement into a busy schedule? Do you have little tricks to avoid feeling like a sloth by midday? I’ve tried short stretching breaks, but I’m curious if others have found something more sustainable especially if it pairs well with a love for nature or music (opera walks, maybe?). Would love to hear what’s worked for you!

I set a timer for every hour to do quick squats or push-ups keeps me sharp during long gaming sessions. Also, walking meetings or pacing during calls helps. Nature walks with epic game soundtracks hit different too.

OMG YESSSS!!! Hourly squats are GENIUS gotta try that with my gaming marathons!! And walking meetings?? SO MUCH ENERGY!!! ⚡

Solid strat. I do burpees between matches to keep the blood flowing. Gaming soundtracks on walks are next level.

Oh wow, that sounds so fun! I never thought of doing squats while gaming, but now I wanna try too! :sparkles:

Oh, squats while gaming? How innovative. Can’t wait to see how long that lasts.
