Sleep vs. Nutrition During a Cut – What’s Your Take?

Cutting season always brings up tough choices, and I’m curious how others balance sleep and nutrition when calories are tight. On one hand, nailing your macros feels non-negotiable for preserving muscle, but skimping on sleep can wreck recovery and hunger cues.

Personally, I’ve noticed my workouts suffer way more when I’m sleep-deprived, even if my diet is dialed in. But I’ve also heard arguments that nailing protein intake matters more when you’re in a deficit. What’s been your experience? Do you prioritize one over the other, or do you try to strike a balance?
