Self-care feels like a buzzword sometimes, doesn't it?

I was kneading some dough earlier and it got me thinking. In baking, you have to follow certain steps for a good result rest the dough, don’t overwork it. It’s just part of the process, not a separate “thing” you have to schedule. So when I hear “self-care” talked about like it’s a mandatory spa day or a new product to buy, it starts to feel a bit hollow. Like it’s been turned into a chore or a status symbol instead of just… taking a breath. Does anyone else feel that way? How do you fit genuine, simple care into your day without it feeling like another item on a to-do list?
