Rock Climbing Endurance and Mental Resilience in Equine Therapy

I’ve noticed that the focus and stamina I build during long climbing sessions seem to help me stay calm and patient in equine therapy. When a horse is hesitant or reactive, that ability to pace myself and maintain composure really comes into play. Has anyone else found that physical endurance from one activity strengthens their mental resilience in another setting? I’m curious how these skills might overlap or support each other in therapeutic work.
