So I was chopping veggies for the week and realized my whole meal prep routine feels like I’m setting up a chessboard before a match. It got me thinking about the little rituals we all have. In climbing, I always have to chalk up in a specific order left hand first, then right, and I tap my chalk bag twice before starting a route. It’s totally silly, but it just centers me and gets my head in the zone.
