Lately I’ve been noticing how anxiety can blow tiny slip-ups out of proportion. Even after the day is done, my mind keeps replaying moments where I stumbled over my words in a meeting or sent an email with a typo. It’s draining. I know Stoicism has a lot to say about focusing on what we can control and letting go of the rest, but in the moment, that’s easier said than done.
For those of you who turn to Stoic practices, what’s a simple reminder or phrase that helps you reset and find perspective after a rough day? I’m curious what actually lands for people when they need to step back from overthinking.
