Overlooked Form Detail That Could Prevent Injury

I’ve noticed a lot of discussion around major form cues keeping the back straight, knees tracking over toes but there’s one subtle thing I rarely see mentioned. What about the position of your tongue and jaw during heavy lifts or intense holds? I read somewhere that clenching or misplacing the tongue can create tension that travels down the neck and into the shoulders, throwing off alignment. It sounds minor, but in psychology we know the mind-body connection is real, and tension often starts in small, unconscious places. Has anyone else paid attention to this, or found other tiny, proofreading-level adjustments that made a noticeable difference in stability or comfort?
