Okay, I’ll go first. My biggest rekt moment was piling into a high-APY farm on a new chain last year. The numbers were insane, and the Discord was pure hype. I thought I was being smart by getting in early, but it was basically a ticking time bomb. The tokenomics were a mess, and the whole thing imploded in about three weeks. Let’s just say my portfolio took a serious haircut.
I’m still on a bit of hopium, though. Not for that specific project that’s dust but for the whole yield farming space. I’m way more cautious now, sticking to more established protocols and actually reading the docs (crazy concept, I know). The potential for real yield from solid projects is still there, right? Or am I just setting myself up for another lesson?
What about you guys? What was your most painful farm, and are you still optimistic about finding good opportunities, or have you moved on to other plays like airdrops?
