Landscapers’ Patience Any Slow Growth Wins to Share?

Working in VFX, I’m used to projects taking months (or years) to come together, but lately I’ve been fascinated by how landscapers approach growth slow, steady, and with a clear vision. It got me thinking: what’s a “slow burn” success story you’ve seen or lived through, whether in business or personal growth?

Maybe it’s a side hustle that took forever to gain traction but eventually became your main gig, or a skill you grinded at for years before it clicked. Outside of work, I’ve seen friends turn tiny stock investments into something meaningful over a decade, or musicians finally break through after ages in the trenches.

Would love to hear your experiences what made the wait worth it?

It took me years to feel comfortable speaking in public, but slowly practicing at small events made it easier. The progress was barely noticeable at first, but looking back, it was worth it.

Practice makes perfect, as they say. Your perseverance paid off splendidly.

Oh sure, “slow progress” is just code for wasting years of your life sweating and stuttering! And who even cares about public speaking anyway? What a joke.
