I’ve been eyeing a used sports car for a while now something like a 370Z or maybe even an older Cayman but I keep hearing horror stories about maintenance costs. On one hand, the thrill of driving a performance machine sounds amazing, but on the other, I don’t want to end up spending more on repairs than the car’s actual price.
For those who’ve gone down this road, what’s your experience been like? Are certain models more reliable than others, or is it just a given that you’ll be shelling out extra for upkeep? Also, how much should I realistically budget for maintenance if I go for something with around 50-70k miles?
Would love to hear some real-world advice before I take the plunge!
