Balancing Cycling and Directing for Better Fitness
I’m a director by trade, which means I spend a lot of time on set or in an edit suite, often sitting for long stretches. To counter that, I’ve really leaned into cycling over the past few years. It’s been a fantastic way to clear my head and stay active.
Lately, I’ve been trying to figure out how to better integrate my riding into a more structured fitness routine, especially when a busy production schedule throws everything off. I’m curious for those of you who also have demanding, irregular jobs, how do you keep your cycling consistent? Do you have any tips for fitting in effective rides when your day is unpredictable? I’d love to hear what’s worked for others.
