When Sustainability Pushes Too Far
I was reflecting on how we often compare sustainability to endurance training both require consistency, smart planning, and resilience. But in fitness, there’s a clear danger in overtraining: you risk burnout or injury instead of making progress. So what does that look like for our planet? Are there situations where our efforts to be sustainable might actually backfire? For example, could aggressive rewilding disrupt local ecosystems, or could over-reliance on certain green technologies create new environmental strains? I’m curious to hear your thoughts on where that line between resilience and recklessness lies.
