Does Cardio Really Help with Stress or Just Swap It for Fatigue?
Lately, I’ve noticed how much tension builds up in my body after long hours at the jewelry bench shoulders tight, hands stiff, the whole deal. I’ve heard that cardio can help “flush out” stress since it eases muscle tension, but I’m curious: does it actually relieve stress, or are we just trading mental fatigue for physical exhaustion?
When I push through a run or a bike session, I definitely feel more relaxed afterward, but sometimes it’s hard to tell if that’s genuine stress relief or just being too tired to overthink. Has anyone else wrestled with this? Would love to hear how you balance cardio with managing stress without burning out.
