Okay, so this random thought popped into my head today while I was closing up at the restaurant. If money were a character in one of those cheesy romantic comedies, I think my relationship with it would be a classic “will they, won’t they” situation. We’re definitely not in a stable, committed relationship more like awkwardly bumping into each other at the worst possible moments. One week we’re having a great time together, and the next it’s ghosting me entirely.
I’m trying to get better at managing it, especially since I’m saving up for a decent VR art setup and want to be smarter about promoting my side projects online. But it feels like I’m always either chasing after it or trying not to spend it too quickly once it shows up. Does anyone else feel like their dynamic with money is straight out of a movie? How do you go from a chaotic rom-com plot to something a little more… dependable?
