We’re talking about the kind of trip where the itinerary is completely unhinged but somehow still has a weird pull.
I can picture a “Grand Line Discovery Cruise” from One Piece. The sales pitch would be all about adventure and hidden treasures, but the fine print mentions unpredictable weather, sea kings, and a non-zero chance of your ship getting eaten. It’s chaos, but the idea of sailing into the unknown with a quirky crew is weirdly tempting.
Then there’s the more… spiritual retreat angle. A package to the spirit world bathhouse from Spirited Away sounds peaceful until you remember the rules about your name and the risk of turning into a pig. It’s a high-stakes spa day, but the chance to see that world up close is a unique kind of appeal.
