Doxxed Team but Sketchy LinkedIn Profiles Red Flag or Just Web3 Norm?
So I was digging into a new altcoin project the other day, and they make a big deal about the team being fully doxxed. I checked, and sure enough, names and faces are out there. But then I went to their LinkedIn pages, and something felt off. Really sparse profiles, maybe a couple of generic connections, or work histories that don’t quite add up. It got me wondering: is this a major red flag we should all be running from, or is it just part of the weird, pseudonymous culture in Web3 where people value privacy over polished corporate profiles? I audit smart contracts, so my radar goes off when things don’t line up, but maybe I’m overthinking the social media side. What’s your take? Have you seen legit projects where the team’s online professional presence just looks… unconvincing?
