How do you structure your deload weeks for the best recovery?

I’ve been trying to dial in my deloads lately and I’m curious how other lifters approach them. Do you schedule a full week of complete rest, or do you prefer active recovery with lighter weights? Sometimes I feel like I just end up doing lighter versions of my regular workouts and calling it a deload, but I’m not sure that’s giving my body the break it really needs. What’s worked best for you in terms of coming back stronger and avoiding plateaus?
