Hikers vs. Electricians: Who’s Got More Real-World Strength?

I’ve noticed something interesting while chatting with friends who love to travel and hike. They’ll proudly talk about conquering steep trails or long distances, but then struggle just carrying their backpack to the airport. Meanwhile, as an electrician, my crew and I are constantly hauling heavy tools and equipment up ladders and through tight spaces all day long. It got me wondering does hiking stamina really translate to functional strength? Or are we tradespeople secretly the fittest ones out there? I’d love to hear your thoughts on what kind of fitness matters most in everyday life.
