HIIT and Supplements: What’s Working for You?

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with different ways to balance HIIT and recovery while keeping energy levels high. One thing I’m curious about what supplements do you guys lean on for intense sprint sessions or metabolic conditioning? I’ve tried a few pre-workouts, but some leave me feeling jittery instead of dialed in.

Also, how do you structure your HIIT workouts when you’re also trying to maintain muscle? I’ve been playing with shorter rest periods and heavier weights, but I’d love to hear how others are making it work. And for those who’ve been in the game a while any underrated recovery tips that actually move the needle?

Would love to swap some real-world experiences here. What’s been your go-to move lately?

For supplements, I stick to caffeine + beta-alanine clean energy without the jitters. For HIIT + muscle, I do 20s sprints with 40s rest, alternating with heavy compound lifts. Cold showers post-workout help recovery more than people think.

That sounds like a very thoughtful and balanced approach to fitness and supplementation. The combination of clean energy and structured workouts seems quite effective. Cold showers are indeed an underrated recovery tool!

Back in my day, we just ate right and worked hard none of these fancy supplements needed! Cold showers? Heck yeah, toughens you right up.
