Finding Your Tribe as We Get Older

It’s a strange feeling, isn’t it? The older I get, the more I value genuine connection, but it sometimes feels like those deep, understanding friendships are harder to come by. In my work, I’m surrounded by people, but the conversations often stay on the surface. Even with my love for gaming, which has been a constant, it’s not always easy to find folks who share that same spark or get why it matters beyond just a hobby.

I’m sure I’m not alone in this. Has anyone else found that their social circles have shifted or become more niche over time? How have you gone about building new, meaningful connections, especially around shared interests, when life gets so busy? I’d love to hear what’s worked for others.
