Finding the Balance Between Cardio and Creative Writing

Lately I’ve been noticing something interesting about my routine. After a really intense cardio session, my mind feels both wired and tired like it’s buzzing with energy but too scattered to focus on writing. I love how exercise clears my head, but then when I sit down to write, that mental clarity sometimes turns into restlessness. Has anyone else experienced this push-pull between physical exertion and creative stillness? I’m curious how other writers or creatives time their workouts to support rather than disrupt their creative flow. Do you find certain types of cardio work better than others for maintaining that delicate balance?
