Exercises You Dropped Because the Payoff Wasn’t Worth It?

Lately, I’ve been reevaluating my routine and realized some exercises just don’t justify the fatigue they bring. For me, it’s heavy barbell shrugs they always leave my traps fried for days, but I haven’t noticed much carryover to my overall strength or recovery. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d rather spend that energy on movements with better returns.

Curious to hear what others have cut out for similar reasons. Are there any exercises you’ve ditched because the effort didn’t match the results?
