I teach dance classes all week, so you’d think I’ve got cardio and recovery figured out but lately, I’ve hit some weird snags. For one, my usual post-class cooldowns don’t seem to cut it anymore, and I’m noticing stiffness creeping in faster than before. Has anyone else dealt with this?
Also, balancing high-energy routines with steady cardio feels trickier than expected. Some days, I’m wiped out way sooner than I should be, even though my endurance is solid. Maybe it’s a pacing thing? Or could it be tied to how I’m fueling?
And recovery what’s your go-to when stretching just isn’t enough? I’ve tried foam rolling, but I’m curious if there are other methods that work for people with active, on-your-feet jobs. Would love to hear what’s worked (or backfired) for others!
