Can Structured Routines Boost Creativity or Stifle It?

I’ve always been torn between the need for structure and the fear that it might squash creativity. On one hand, setting a routine helps me stay productive whether it’s mixing audio, streaming, or working on animations. But sometimes, I wonder if too much rigidity leaves less room for spontaneous ideas.

How do you balance structure with creative freedom? Do you find that having a set schedule actually fuels your motivation over time, or does it make your work feel too mechanical? I’d love to hear how others navigate this, especially those who juggle creative projects with day-to-day responsibilities. Any tips or personal experiences would be awesome!
