Can Board Games Teach Us About Productivity?

Lately, I’ve noticed how much time I spend optimizing my workflow whether it’s baking schedules or VFX projects but it hit me that some of the best productivity lessons might come from board games. Think about it: games force you to manage resources, plan ahead, and adapt when things don’t go as expected.

Has anyone else found themselves applying strategies from games to real-life tasks? Maybe something like Pandemic’s teamwork dynamics or Ticket to Ride’s route planning? I’d love to hear if you’ve borrowed any game mechanics to stay organized or efficient. Or maybe I’m just overthinking it and should go play another round of Wingspan instead!
