Building Endurance for Long Theater Tech Days

Hey folks, I’m a telemarketer by day, but I’ve always had a passion for theater and music history. Lately, I’ve been volunteering as a theater tech for local productions, and I’m realizing how physically demanding those long tech rehearsals and show nights can be. Standing for hours, lifting set pieces, and staying focused late into the night really takes it out of me. I’d love to hear how other theater techs build up their stamina over time. What kind of routines or habits help you stay energized and avoid burnout during intense production schedules? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
