I’m a jeweler by trade, but my real passion is permaculture. Lately, I’ve been trying to apply some of those principles like observing patterns, valuing resources, and creating closed-loop systems to how I handle my finances. It feels like a natural fit, but I’m hitting a bit of a creative wall.
Has anyone else tried something similar? I’d love to hear how you might approach budgeting or saving money through a permaculture lens. For example, are there ways to “stack functions” with your spending or “catch and store” income more effectively? Maybe even treating financial waste like we would organic waste finding a use for it instead of letting it go. I’m open to any unconventional ideas that make money management feel more connected and less rigid.
