Breathwork after cardio vs. stretching after climbing

I’ve been curious about how breathwork like box breathing might help with recovery after cardio sessions. I usually stretch after rock climbing, and it feels like it makes a real difference in how my muscles feel the next day. But I’m wondering if breathwork could offer similar benefits after a run or cycling workout. Has anyone tried incorporating breathing exercises into their cool-down routine?
