Blending Stoicism and Nutrition for a Balanced Mindset

Stoicism has always intrigued me, especially how it emphasizes control over what we can influence and letting go of what we can’t. Since I’m big into nutrition, I’ve been wondering how these philosophies could mesh with eating habits and food choices. Has anyone tried applying Stoic principles to their diet or meal planning?

For example, I like the idea of practicing gratitude for the food we have, even when it’s not our ideal meal, or embracing simplicity by focusing on nourishing foods without overcomplicating things. Maybe even using discipline in moderation rather than strict restriction. Curious if others have found creative ways to tie these ideas together would love to hear your thoughts!
