Blending Sports Drills with Strength Training: Any Tips?

I’ve been trying to find a good balance between general strength training and sports-specific drills, but I’m not entirely sure how to integrate them effectively. For example, if I’m working on improving my agility and explosiveness for basketball, should I focus on those drills before or after lifting? Or is it better to alternate days entirely? I’m curious how others structure their routines to make sure they’re building strength while still honing skills for their sport. Any advice or personal experiences would be super helpful!
