Balancing Stoic Acceptance and Preventing Burnout

Lately I’ve been wrestling with this idea of burnout specifically, whether a Stoic approach means accepting it as an inevitable part of life or pushing back to preserve my energy. On one hand, there’s something appealing about acknowledging limits without resistance. On the other, I worry that passive acceptance might just normalize exhaustion.

As someone who juggles psychology work with side passions like farming and design, I know how easy it is to stretch myself thin. But where’s the line between resilience and self-neglect? Would love to hear how others reconcile Stoic principles with practical self-care. Do you lean into rest when drained, or do you see burnout as something to actively resist?
