Balancing Nature and Intervention in Conservation

I’ve been wrestling with a question lately and would love to hear your thoughts. In urban planning, we often try to balance human needs with environmental health, but what about when it comes to stepping into natural systems? For example, if a species is declining due to predation, is it right for us to intervene, or should we let nature take its course? I’m curious where others draw the line between helping and meddling.
