I’m deep into a strength block right now, but I really don’t want to drop my HIIT sessions they keep my conditioning sharp. The problem is, adding those intense cardio days sometimes leaves me feeling completely drained, like my nervous system is fried. I’m curious how others manage this split. Do you schedule your HIIT on the same day as lifting, or keep them completely separate? What kind of recovery tricks have you found actually work to keep energy levels up?
