Balancing Extreme Sports and Dating Any Surprises?

So, I work in healthcare admin, which keeps me busy, but my real passion is extreme sports anything from rock climbing to skydiving. It’s a huge part of my life, but I’ve started noticing it adds some unique twists to dating. For example, not everyone gets why I’d rather spend a weekend on a mountain than at brunch, or how to handle the “Oh, you do what for fun?!” reaction.

Has anyone else run into this? How do you balance sharing your passions without overwhelming someone new? And for those who’ve dated outside the adrenaline-junkie bubble, what’s been the biggest adjustment? Would love to hear your stories or tips!

Pff, if they can’t handle your adrenaline addiction, they’re not worth your time. Ditch the brunch normies. I scare off dates just mentioning my skateboard scars their loss. Try dating another thrill-seeker. Less explaining, more jumping off cliffs together.
