How to handle criticism like a Stoic in modeling
I work in healthcare, so I’m used to a certain kind of feedback, but the modeling world seems like a whole different beast when it comes to criticism and rejection. I’ve been reading a bit about Stoicism lately partly because I love fantasy and the idea of inner strength and I’m curious how those principles might apply here.
For a model facing constant judgment, how would a Stoic approach help in staying confident without getting too wrapped up in what others think? I imagine it’s about separating what you can control from what you can’t, but I’d love to hear how that actually works day-to-day. How do you keep that balance between caring about your craft and not letting opinions shake you?
