Anyone else feeling the loneliness epidemic in their daily routine?

Lately I’ve been noticing how much of my day is spent in my own head. Between crunching numbers for reimbursements and diving into VR art projects, it’s easy to go hours without a real conversation. Even my usual horror movie marathons, which I used to love doing with friends, have become a solo activity. It’s not that I’m unhappy, but sometimes the quiet feels heavier than it should.

I’m curious if others in specialized or solo-heavy jobs experience this. How do you build meaningful connections when your work and hobbies lean toward the independent side? Any small habits or changes that have helped you feel more grounded?
