A Board Game That Really Tested My Patience

So I was playing Spirit Island the other night, and it hit me how much that game has reshaped how I approach problems. At first, it feels completely overwhelming you’re trying to defend this island from invaders, and it seems like every move you make just isn’t enough. You have to plan several turns ahead, accept some losses, and trust that your long-term strategy will pay off. It’s a slow burn, but that moment when your plans finally click and you turn the tide is incredibly satisfying. Has anyone else had a similar experience with a game? I’d love to hear which ones taught you to hang in there and think a few steps ahead.
