A trader’s moral dilemma: rug or be rugged?
So I was scrolling through some new token launches earlier, and it got me thinking. We’ve all seen those projects that are basically just a meme and a promise. No real use case, just hype and maybe a fun community.
It presents a weird choice, right? If you were in a position to pull the rug on one of those purely speculative plays, knowing others would probably do it first, would you? Or would you rather be on the other side, putting faith (and funds) into something, only to watch the devs vanish?
I’m genuinely curious where other traders stand on this. Is it ever justifiable to be the one doing the rugging if the project clearly has zero long-term intent? Or is taking that risk as an investor just part of the memecoin game? Looking for some honest perspectives.
