Why Do We Label Food as "Good" or "Bad" Instead of Just Fuel?

It’s funny how we attach so much moral weight to what we eat like a salad is “virtuous” and a burger is “sinful.” I get that nutrition matters, but why does food have to be a judgment call? As someone who bikes a lot, I’ve started seeing food more as energy to keep me moving, not a scorecard for my willpower.
