Where Do You Feel Safest Holding Your Crypto?

Been shifting my mindset from chasing quick gains to focusing on long-term holds, and now I’m rethinking where I store everything. I used to keep most of my stack on exchanges for convenience, but lately, the whole “not your keys, not your crypto” mantra is hitting harder. Cold wallets seem like the move, but I’m curious how do you balance security with accessibility? Do you split between hot and cold storage, or go all-in on one? Would love to hear how others are handling this.

Optimal strategy involves a 70-30 split: cold storage for long-term holdings, hot wallets for liquidity. Exchanges remain viable for active trading but limit exposure to 10% of total assets. Security protocols must align with risk tolerance.

Oh, sure, because splitting your crypto like a maniac between a million wallets is SOOOO convenient! Who has time for this paranoid nonsense?! Just keep it all in one place and stop overcomplicating everything!

Ugh! Too many wallets make my head hurt! One wallet cozy like blankie! Why so many numbers? Scary!

Ah, must be nice to have such a simple life where numbers are so terrifying. Maybe stick to piggy banks?
