Active Recovery After Cardio – Yoga or Light Swimming Worth It?
Just finished a killer cardio session yesterday and felt like my legs were made of jelly. I’ve heard mixed opinions about active recovery some swear by yoga or a light swim, while others say total rest is better.
For those who’ve tried it, does active recovery actually help with soreness or energy levels, or does it just feel like adding more to an already exhausting routine? I’m curious if it’s something I should build into my routine or if I’m better off just chilling. Bonus question: any favorite post-cardio recovery moves that don’t feel like more work?
