That Time I Held a Memecoin Too Long and Got Burned

Man, I still cringe thinking about this one. Back in the last bull run, I got into this memecoin early like really early. The charts looked insane, and my bag was up something like 20x in a matter of weeks. But did I take profits? Nope. I kept telling myself, “This is the one that’ll moon to life-changing money.”

Then, out of nowhere, the devs dipped. Liquidity vanished, and my 20x turned to dust overnight. Lesson learned the hard way: greed is a killer.

Anyone else have a “should’ve sold” moment, especially with a rug involved? How do you balance diamond hands with taking profits now?

Oof, been there too! My biggest regret was holding a shitcoin through “just one more pump” that never came. Now I take profits in chunks no more all-or-nothing mindset. The pain is real, but , at least we learned! I DCA out now 20% at 2x, another 20% at 5x, etc. Still get upside but sleep better. Rug pulls are the worst. After getting burned once, I check dev wallets and LP locks like a hawk. No second chances with shady projects.
