Telemedicine and Cardio Recovery: Is There a Connection?

So, I’ve been leaning on telemedicine a lot lately it’s a huge help with my schedule. But I’m starting to wonder if there’s a downside. Since my appointments are just a click away, I’m literally not moving from my desk for hours. I feel like my legs are heavier and my recovery after a run seems to drag. Is the sedentary nature of virtual visits actually slowing down my cardio recovery, or am I just looking for a convenient excuse to skip my post-workout stretching? Has anyone else noticed this, or found a good way to balance the convenience of telemedicine with staying active?
